Family Share Day

Friday was Family Share Day at Fletcher. For her part, Taylor "shared" her family. Sunny was there--she was a hit with T's classmates--with our parents and me. Stephen and John couldn't make it, but T had plenty to talk about just the same!

I was so happy to be there for T. It was another one of those experiences, though, that tends to make me sad in a (usually small) way. After T introduced us, the other kids had a chance to ask questions. T had no way of knowing, though, when they raised their hands--or, after someone was called on, who was speaking. It must be so difficult for her, but she just keeps plugging along, smiling her beautiful smile and making it through each day. She has exhibited so much courage through all of this. All the more reason why she deserves to be saved.
